These days, Toby was rarely surprised when they were instructed to go somewhere other than a classroom for a lesson. He was curious about why the bridge, of all places. Would whatever they were doing have something to do with... leaving the bridge? As in, over the edge? Maybe they were going to make each other fly. Where would the sense of adventure come into it? That was the question, the question Toby was eager to find out the answer to. Just... as long as it was nothing like Transfiguration. He didn't think he could cope with anymore giant, hungry spiders.

Toby arrived at the bridge, all dressed in his comfortable clothes, and wearing a jacket because COLD. Except... it wasn't cold here. In fact, Toby was now just TOO WARM. He quickly shrugged the jacket back off before he could overheat, then worked on wrestling something out of the pocket. It took a moment, but soon he had it. An apple, of course.

"Morning, Professor Quigley," Toby finally greeted the professor, stepping over to dutifully place the apple on the railing beside him, though hopefully not so close that it would be knocked into the abyss ditch below. And was that... a barrel of apples? Didn't take Toby too long to see the smug look on Sophie's face where she stood nearby, and he easily put two and two together.

And she called him a nerd. Suuuuuuuure.
