She glanced between the massive pile of books she'd just just put down and Rusty. How had she gotten them up all of those stairs? "Nice stack you've got there," she said, peering at the spines. "What are they about?" She wanted to know all the things.
"Have you been up here before?" Because Clara could give her the grand 'tour' if she hadn't.
Rusty hopped up onto the bench next to Clara and looked around, it was pretty amazing, being all the way up here, and she wasn't surprised that the Ravenclaw liked it - birds liked to roost up high right? Right.
"Potions, mostly." she said, picking up the book from the top of the pile.
"Ingredients and stuff. A lot of them don't make very much sense, it's like they aren't really English so reading them's kinda hard." Rusty turned to the page that her owl-decorated bookmark was on and tapped her finger on the passage she'd been reading, which was written in some sort of old fashioned english, with lots of long words and things.
"It's about acorns and I'm trying to figure out if you can replace larvae and stuff with seeds cause they're like baby plants so they still have all the life inside them and I thiiiiink that's what larvae are used for."
...
But she wasn't wholly sure, so she was trying to find out if anyone had done comparisons before.
