Though she had pulled back from their hug Hady let a hand linger lightly on his arm as she looked at him, her other hand moving to tuck the green portion of her hair back behind her ear once again. All her attention was set on the young boy before her.

Different. That was always a complicated word when used for describing a holiday. Hopefully it hadn't been to bad for him. As he explained the meaning of his use of 'different' she smiled softly at him. "Well spending more time with your mum is totally a plus as it getting all your shopping done already." Hady replied nodding her head at that. It'd have been nice if she had been able to do that already.

Her summer though? It hadn't been to bad...not yet anyhow. What mattered was it was about to get a whole lot better.

"It's been alright. I've spent most of my days hanging with Jaxon...he's leaving for camp before we return from this trip and I'll already be back at school before he returns home." Yup some sad stuff there but it happens. At least they had the mirrors they could use to talk. She'd have to remember to thank Lux when the next term started for telling her about that.

Who was Zeke looking at? Hady turned her head slightly to see and spotted Maggie giving her a small smile in return. Turning back towards Zeke once more. "That's Maggie she's one of my dorm mates."

Granted it really hadn't been long, but Summer's always seemed to drag a bit. Just a bit. Even as she pulled back, he'd have been happy to stand there and just hug it out, because the hug was just THAT good, but they'd have time for that later too. How was his summer? "It's been different," he shrugged, "kinda weird actually, still getting used to the move, but I've seen more of Mum, she's not as busy with work as she used to be." Which was both good and bad. Great because he could actually be with her... but dreadfully terrible because she would take him shopping for clothes that he'd outgrown, she'd fuss about his manners, take him to meet people he didn't care about and had him doing what she called 'light' homework as well. "At least I got to spend some time in London though, did all my shopping already." But enough about him. Boring. "How about you? Been up to much?" She looked well, and even a little different.
