She didn't realise she was... here? What? How could anyone not realise there was a Ruby right here? This never happened! Adrienne took a step back from the girl she was still standing uncomfortably close too. Whoops. Well, at least she seemed nice enough, if the smile and the pardon was anything to go off of.

"Thanks," she replied, forcing a smile herself. See, she could still be happy and have a good time without Tora around. She could make other friends, and then never have to look at that miserable little goblin again except to laugh at her from a position of being much happier and prettier and surrounded by cool gorgeous friends. And then if she grovelled, Adrienne would maybe forgive her and her stupid dented astronomy thingamabob. Maybe.

Oh, and there was someone else. A boy. And wearing a pretty neat feathery mask, too. "Hi there," she said, with a smile and a small wave. And then... someone was ill? Aw, the poor thing. Oh well, more room for Adrienne and her glamorous new companion. "Was she ill, like, sick? As in, did she throw up or anything?" Because that would be gross. And she was not going to go anywhere near the carriage because she was always sick when she saw vomit and everything just spiralled down terribly after that, and that was so not what she needed right now.

Hopefully it was fine though. Miss Cool Mask next to her certainly seemed interested enough, as it was.
