She noted the one male Gryffindor prefect nearly knock over one of her treasured elephant's ears --- hmmph! But then the other was addressing her, so she let it go. Spore had a handle on that.

Even Gingersnapple seemed to approve of the girl, giving her hand a small sniff-sniff-meoooooooow, as though he would allow her pet him. And in case she needed more encouragement, he stretched his neck up a tiny bit so his head was running under her fingers, in a head-nudge-PET-ME-bump.

If you'd like to go with Tanner, you can head back down the escalator now. My group, let's hang behind for a moment to allow them a head start."
