Why do YOU think we study muggles? She looked at them expectantly JUST as she gave the zipper ONE last hard tug and the thing BROKE right off, the actual zipper part flying off into the first row of tables.
It took Abbi a quick moment to greet the new Muggle Studdies Professor before sitting down. Her opinions on the lady involved words mostly to do with a bubbly type of hyper person and only because she looked that way, not because Abs had, had actual evidence that she was in fact like that.
Either way the fifth year began with the instructions to follow, by scribbling her: name, year and house to help the Professor with identification. She then actually listened a she had rather been doing well at that this term so far.
Easiest. Question. Ever. Well for a muggleborn that was. Could you tell this was that one class Abs actually excelled in?
"Professor, simple. It's because we need to know how to disguise ourselves around them and seem just as they are whenever they see us." You know, cause like she never knew magic REALLY existed until after she got her letter from Salem and then Donny explained and so on.
" I also think that we can actually learn some stuff from them like I find it really cool how they invent things that sort of replace what some magic can do for us?" LIKE HELLO CELL PHONES-even though wizards had their better equivalent to that. Cell phones, just looked cool okay? Same with cars and Abs could go forever at this, she not ever was ashamed of being a muggleborn.

If anyone was paying attention to Mr. Tempus earlier, he noticed that I was wearing a post-person’s vest.” Meredith did a little turn, showcasing the item of clothing with a smile. ”Can anyone tell the class something they know about muggle mail and how it works?
To think that some wizards knew nothing about this, felt kind of strange to Abbi yet she could in some way relate. When she'd first arrived here EVERYTHING magic had been alien to her, so surely it would be the same if reversed.
The brunette raised her hand and waited her turn.
"They're basically the owls of the muggle world." Simple way of putting it, was it not?
Third question, now this one Abbi actually thought about for a moment, because she wanted to say something a bit more interesting than the usual 'cheerful' or 'patient' type of answer she herself would of expected most to say.
Her hand was raised and then she shot her answer about.
"Someone that won't judge people when they have morning hair or ugly pajamas." Perhaps they didn't always deliver post in the early mornings or even post to people in person a lot of the time but those things could and DID happen.
Maybe not as an exciting answer as the fifth year had wanted it to be, but what more could she think of? After all a postman's job was very simple, although just as necessary for the muggle world to function correctly.
