Maybe that was a bit too much water. Benny surely didn't want to drown his best friend, he would be so distraught without his other half in his life. "Finite..." he cast once he could focus, stopping the fresh water that flowed from the tip of his wand in a jet towards the Hufflepuff. As it was once the water was no longer there, the Gryffindor could finally see straight in front of him , only to see the spell he couldn't quite escape or protect against in time.
So he wobbled.
And he wiggled.
And he tried to keep his feet as the spell worked on his legs and overall balance. It was a struggle and he couldn't even bring himself to manage to cancel the spell.
Now, when Adi had cast that last spell, he had removed the hand that was protecting his face. So some of the water shooting his way got into his mouth when he opened it causing him to sputter and cough.
He doubled over. Cough, cough, COUGGGGGGH! Eeeep! Benny was trying to kill him indeed!
The poor Puffer coughed for a bit more, trying to get a grip on himself. When he finally did so, he looked in Benny's direction without straightening up.
Benny was wobbling about. Obviously his spell had done its job. The sight was wonderfully funny, sending Adi off into a round of laughter...which promptly turned into another coughing fit.
Jeez. He got it, Universe. No laughing at the bestie. But that didn't mean he could not take advantage of Benny's situation. Straightening up, Adi raised his wand.
