Why were there so many of them? Was it their mating season? Or...blooming size?? What the deuce was it called??!
CRreeeeeeEEEEEeeeaaaAAAaak.
Cutty opened up the cupboards and took out three pots. If he was going to do this, he was going to do this. He separated the buckets and filled one half way and the other two to the top. Wand out, he levitated them over to a spot near a Gryffindor girl. Temporarily. They had a tendency to be loud and he didn't want her landing him a black eye for startling the bulbs. The creak of the cupboard door was the only thing that really let her know that there was someone else in the room with her. That and the fact that there suddenly were three identically filled pots next to her. And here she was doing things manually like a muggle with her summoned wagon. Lame. She had been so lame.
She debated saying hello to the guy for a bit, and instead just sent him a quick chin-lift of a nod. It was her way of saying hello today; she just…didn’t want to get hit in the face with an irate and startled bulb.
Carefully she filled the rest of her pots with soil as well. Okay no nerves. She exhaled as quietly as possible as she made her way over to where the bulbs were being held. Okay, now or never.
Carefully she reached her gloved hands closer toward the bouncing little bulbs. Inching her hands were inching and inching along as she reached for the plant. Delicately she grabbed the bulb lifting it up and carrying it back to her workspace. She hadn’t startled it yet! If she didn’t have to be quiet and calm she’d have wooted, but she didn’t.
