When the photo was done taking and being spit out of the camera, he set it on the desk, waiting for the image to present itself. He saw her, looking cute as her hair framed her face and curls bounced up. He took out his wand and performed the wand motion as he said Alacer! He watched and clapped his hand excitedly as the picture began to take shape. She was very clearly jumping and saying the name of their house founder. He looked at her excitedly and grinned like he'd caught a prize winning fish. It worked! He picked up the picture and showed it to her. It was then he noticed a second picture of himself. This one was less goofy looking as he was serious about developing her picture. That one is rather nice. You are doing very well at this moving portrait thing.
Norah craned over Ian's head to see how her jumping picture turned out.
"Hey! It did work! Nice going." She grinned at him and slapped him a high five. She was pleased with his excitement now, and he was looking a lot less uncomfortable than he had before. Yeeeah! So any accomplishments.
Looking towards her second picture, the second year picked up her wand again to tap it, saying
"Alacer" in a clear voice. She eyed it apprehensively, but her face split into another wide grin when she saw it begin to move. Hey! She'd done it again. Her face shining, she turned back to Ian trying not to sound too pleased at his compliment.
"Thanks! This is really fun. Thanks for being my partner, too." It would've been far more boring if she had been working by herself, as most things tended to be.
"It is a nice picture. Here, you should keep it." Norah held the photo on the edges and held it out in his direction. Everyone deserved to have a nice picture of themselves, especially the ones with the low self esteem. She knew that for a fact, uh huh. She conscious of her little brothers' feelings whether people thought she was or not, and making them feel better was always a priority. She gave Ian a small smile, hoping he was feeling a little better himself.
