Letting out a loud sigh of relief Leo pulled out a towel from under the counter and wiped away the sweat on from his forehead. Flexing his arms to stretch them out after the ordeal he turned to the boy with gratitude. "Thank you for your quick help, Mr? If you hadn't come when you did I'm not sure I would have come out of that unscathed."

Watching the boy gently run his finger over the furry book Leo asked "You want to borrow this copy of the Monster Book of Monsters? It’s pretty feisty."It was worth mentioning. Well weirder things had happened. Turning his attention to Cassie he smiled warmly. "Thank you for finding my wand Professor Morgan, and I’m fine." Shoving the towel back under the counter Leo asked. "What brings you to the library?" It didn’t feel right to call her Cassie in front of a student. Even if he wanted to.

It had been a busy day in the library and Leo had stood on his feet more than he had done since the years start. It seemed that the student’s wants for reading material of all sorts increased the further into the term they got. Leo had just slumped down in his seat at the front desk for a well earned rest when a dirty blond boy trailed his way up to the desk.

Straightening in his seat Leo greeted the boy with a cheery smile. "Good day," furrowing his brows just a little he answered. "I’ve got a number of fairy tales books. Especially muggle ones." Grabbing his wands from his holster he used it to fetch a book. As it sailed down on the counter he offered it to the boy. "Did you want something like this? Its Muriel Ashworth's prized '100 fairy tales and bedtime stories' it's a good read and has lots of pretty pictures."

And to think he thought libraries were BORING. Heheeeee. Well, these Monster books weren't boring, that was for sure... in fact, they were kinda cute as well as being cool.

Professor Cassie got another smile, but the librarian had his attention for the time being. He was the man he'd come to see after all. "You're welcome, Sir," Zeke started, with a bow of the head. "And it's Zeke, Zeke Rogers." Yep, that was his name! Don't wear it out!... or well, he could, so long as it was for good things not bad. "Aaaawww, I'm sure you could've, why didn't you pet it?" Of course, he wouldn't mind borrowing it, but he was more interested in owning it. "I meant for keeps, but I'm sure my mum could buy it for me." She approved of spending on books, especially the learning ones. "But I'm not here for this specifically, I need some research books for my astronomy assignment," he added, pointing to the note he left on the counter.

So uhhh... yeah. Serve him too please, not just the lady Professor.

Cassie couldn't help but snap for Zeke she was so proud of his calm and cool thinking. Many first years would have freaked out with a book like that, but he just went up and pet it AND made it purrrr. It was totes adorbs did he know? "Zeke is a very promising young Gryffindor. He's in my lessons and is doing a fabulous job." She beamed at them both.

She let the young man say his business s she organized the books she had just scattered on the counter to look for Leo's missing wand. Placing them in the check in area she turned her attention back towards the two males.

Professor Morgan she gave an odd look, right right student, "Please Mr. Kitridge it's Professor Cassie to all the students so feel free to use it too." Giving him a sweet smile, Professor Morgan just seemed to formal to her, so she enjoyed having her first name be there. She was very glad he was fine though.

Oh.. why was she here for a moment it slipped her mind as she just was watching. A blush ran over her face a bit, "I was just returning a few books I checked out the other day." Seeing him almost daily it probably wasn't a surprise. "Now I'm going to see if I can find one or two on necromancy for my SNACinators. It's going to be a fascinating SNAC club meeting you should come join us." Her beaming smile sat towards Leo until she remembered Zeke, "Oh you too Zeke. It going to be a bit advanced, but I'll be the one doing most of it so you should be fine." Green eyes moved between both of them, could they tell how excited she was?
