A path is not simply for walking, its purpose lies in moving forward and improving oneself.

The boy was clever, Cosgrach had to admit. He had beaten Cosgrach so far, but Cosgrach was better and he would win this war.

So he listened to what he had to say. He was... touched with the apology, but he wasn't impressed. He didn't believe him. He was just doing it because -

Ah.

Cosgrach would have smirked his meaniest, but he was too angry to do that. Instead, he only said "So is this your game, now? You came to apologise, because you want to become a potioneer and need me?" He laughed evilly. "I'm not buying it. The apology. I can teach you all I know," which was a lot, if only Kevin glanced at the library and see the voluminous books he had written, "but you know what? I'm tired of you and I just don't feel like wasting one second of my time for you outside the classroom." Because he had to teach him during class, but outside it? He didn't think so. He shrugged casually and almost dismissively. Sure a detention wouldn't serve anyone any good, but denying the boy his dreams?

Sweeter than chocolate frogs.
It was such a shame that the Professor didn't fell for his fake apology. But at least he had tried. And it didn't matter he had other ways of getting what he wanted. Sometimes he wondered why the hat sorted him in Gryffindor and not Slytherin... Maybe it saw something brave worthy in him? mweh.

Also, it was a shame that Bentley was gone. And now that Flailsteed was his Head of House he had to get on good terms with that guy now so that if *someone* went to him with a note of his behaviour , he would be defended again. Ah yes, he had it all planned out. Too bad it wasn't working so far, he didn't like Flailsteed either because he still had his hat! Atleast he had liked Bentley so there was no acting to be nice.

WOW.... he caught up with his plan pretty fast. Kevin was impressed and it was shown on his face as he looked at the potions professor. "Who said it was for me?" he grinned but knew he couldnt fool him so he added a "Yeah okay, it was for me"

Although on the outside he pretended he didn't care that he didn't get help, on the inside he was a bit worried. He DID want to become a Potioneer. Just because he didn't like the Professor didn't mean he had to dislike the subject right? The boy let out a sigh after the man said he was tired of him and he shook his head lightly. "I'm bad at apologising. I hate it in fact. But at least i tried right? Well, okay i admit it was for my own good but come on! You would have done the same thing if you were in my shoes!" he said.

Realising that he wasn't getting anywhere this time, Kevin stood up from the seat but didn't walk away just yet. "Alright then, fine! I don't need your stupid help anyways" But although he said those words, his voice was slightly different and his expression was a bit worried but then he quickly changed it in to his*whatever* face.
