| oops. Sorry Felix....... let's wrap this up? *blushes* ❄ Chasing Waterfalls & Wonder ❄ | Mama Badger | Eva's Soul Sister | An OG™ | It's all in the Numbers Quote:

If I have free time I like to run around the grounds. My grandfather says he's never seen me sit still." Indeed, at that moment he was bouncing one leg even as he spoke. "I even have a really cool pogo stick that I bounce around on. But apart from that... I think Ancient Runes and Astronomy are pretty cool. They're my favourite subjects. Professor Botros and Professor Airey make them even better, too. I wrote Professor Botros a whole letter in Elder Futhark over the summer, that was kinda neat to do."
And that was kind of all he could think of. Also there was Herbology, but that was more something he was kind of naturally good at and was only just starting to develop a proper interest. Did school subjects count as interests? It was kind of all he did...
AH WELL.
The whole time budgeting thing DID make a lot of sense. As long as he had some kind of plan or guide then he wasn't likely to just randomly go to the library when he was bored or something, and therefore wouldn't spend too much money. COOL.
When Professor Hadley retrieved the planner from her desk and held it out to him, reached out and took it, smiling slightly. At his old school, you got one of these things when you reached the senior school, which you joined when you were 11. Tobias never got to get his hands on one of them, because of Hogwarts and all, but had always sort of looked forward to getting one. But magic happened and he'd forgotten all about them 'til now. "Seriously?" he grinned. Like, he got to keep it? "Yeah, this'd be so useful. And so... organised." Would this be IT. THE DAY he became ORGANISED? "So like... I get to have this?" Tobias looked up, a hopeful expression on his face and his eyes twinkling.
PLEASE? Surely it wasn't that difficult a question as to what else besides quidditch, was it? But the lost look on Tobias' face said otherwise, so Josephina simply waited ... as he spoke. Okay. Runes and Astronomy. At least he had SOME options other than the elective sport. "Yes, Professor Botros and Flamsteed are great, aren't they?" She replied, smiling. Gosh, she missed sitting near them, but perhaps it'd be for the best. Maybe the runes position wouldn't be ... cursed then. "But Runes and Astronomy are good. There's quite a few career possibilities then.... perhaps involving both of them, even."
His reaction was just priceless. "Yes! Of course you can keep it. That's why I'm giving it to you. And the best part is ... at the end of the year, you could wipe it clean to start over for the following year." Hadley explained. "Just a little magic is all it takes." Nod, nod. Quote:

A million possibilities of what was to be discussed was on her mind. She was not worried about what she was going to say, as Sarah was never at a loss of words. Maybe she should ask the professor about bringing her kindle and using it in the technology room? Sarah began to pace, she always did that when she was thinking. After all, her mind was travelling so far, how can her feet get left behind. When she was asked to select her best Arithmancy student, Josephina had been torn over several student choices. Couldn't she just pick them all? Why did she have to pick just one?! That was like asking her to pick her favorite flower or her favorite hufflepuff. She loved all her students. But there was something there in the way the Gryffindor fifth year spoke and answered her questions in her muggle studies lesson that just ... confirmed everything.
Following the fifth year towards her office, she drew her wand and muttered something complicated-sounding at the door. It opened and she turned back towards Sarah then. "After you," she said, a smile playing at her lips, as she gestured into the room.
