Then she could make her own opinion of Hogwarts' Ancient Runes.

"I do believe we're getting pretty philosophical with flowers," Schuyler said with a little laugh. Though she liked that West took the time to think about things like that and analyze them. Too few boys did, she thought. Anyway, maybe it originated from the convenience of picking flowers; it was easier to do that than dig one up and put it in a pot. "Have you ever given anyone a potted flower?" Just curious. Her mom had been given potted plants by neighbors or friends occasionally.

Oh, hadn't he seen? "I folded it." Though she knew that he'd indeed seen her, she stated this plain fact regardless. "Used to do it all the time when I was a kid.. It's the only origami I know, though." She was no pro. BUT, her childhood bedroom had been filled with them.
Probably not what she expected, but then who usually expected Runes to be a person's favourite? West didn't feel any bit bad about it, she'd see soon enough if she was going to take it and all, and if she hadn't been going to, maybe she would now.

He smiled a little. Sure. Nothing wrong with it right? He was thoughtful, it wasn't a crime. And yeah for someone considered such an extrovert, West did do a lot of insightful, quiet contemplation. "I have, it sort of depends on the situation, and on the flowers. Some flowers don't really work so well in a pot plant, so that's the only situation where I'd give a cut bouquet."

He eyed the folded paper again. "You could maybe show me how some time." West would liiiike that.... and honestly a bit more one on one time with her wouldn't go amiss either. He stood up though...

"I'll see you at the party yeah?" For now... he had things to do, and probably shouldn't spend much more time sitting here being all sparkly-eyed at how pretty she was. "And maybe some time we could work together in class."

Iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiif she wanted.
