Forrest braced himself for a set of insults or a punch, but none came. Instead, the boy dropped his hand after perhaps realising it was too threatening, and spoke normally.

"Okay." He needed to say something else, right? Like... something cooler. Something un-weird. Something...

"Let's start over, then." He had seen this in a movie. It worked in it. Hopefully, Benjamin wouldn't ruin it with stupid questions this time. Seriously. Forrest would skip being his friend if he asked everything.

"My name is Forrest. Hufflepuff second year." He held out his hand for a shake. Because that was how they did it in the movie.
