This class was bonkers. Kat was beginning to question why she had even passed this OWL two terms ago. I mean, it was easy and all... but she would completely fail this class if this old man was going to teach them. She was secretly wishing that Hadley would come back to this class in the middle of the term. Kat would go mad. She didn't want to fail in any NEWT, but it seemed like it was likely to happen with Arithmancy. Because now, they were talking about beards which was out of context. Like, what in Merlin's beard...?!?!

What about facial hair did they know? How was she supposed to know? Did it look like the Head Girl had a beard or a mustache? Kat raised her hand. "They're supposed to be itchy.
