Israel pulled her black hair back from her face and pinned it up with a onyx chopstick before starting to unpack her clothes. Everything had been pressed and folded before being packed away in her trunk. She had brought enough clothes to cloth a small country for years.
Her grandfather had charmed the trunk to be bottomless. She wasn't going to bother going downstairs to unpack her shoes. The Mary Janes she was wearing would work fine till she felt like venturing down there.
She turned when one of the girls started talking to her. Israel looked down at the handful of pink chocolate the girl was offering her. Israel liked her chocolate brown but since she hadn't eaten anything at the feast she wasn't going to look a gift horse in the mouth. She picked up two pieces.
"Thanks. The pink is a nice touch." she set the chocolate down on her nightstand.
"I'm Israel Greenwood." she told the girl introducing herself.
"Um what year are you?" The girl was battling Israel in the short height department and since Israel went the way of all Riddle in that she wasn't ever going to see 5 feet outside of a pair of heels there was no telling is Israel was older than the girl.
