She figured he'd appreciate the compromise but part of said compromise involved him actually petting this thing. Freya looked over at him. He'd stopped short of the fence. It reminded her of that other night, he hadn't wanted to get close but that was why he needed to now. She'd told him to last time and he didn't leave the forest with any new puncture holes. He should have been more willing to listen to her.

His question had her giggling. "If it weren't friendly they wouldn't make it so you can pet it. He's probably been bred in captivity, harmless. Might not even know how to use its horn." She ended with a teasing grin.

The odds of him being viciously attacked were slim...well actually no they weren't but given the look on his face she wasn't about to tell him that. Instead she reached her hand toward him. "Come on, you've pet a wild one and got away from an acromatula, this should be nothing."

Except it was everything and completely amazing and she couldn't see how he could NOT like unicorns of all creatures.

She wanted to have one one day, and not a stuffed one either.
