Marci was neeeeeeever going anywhere with grandpa ever again! The man was just so slow and UGGGGHH he kept telling her to keep quiet, AS IF her young ALIVE spirit could be tamed or held back. Nooo waaaaay, she had a lot to say and do and there wasn't enough time in the world. It was actually so much that she started singing once her grandfather left her at the Rest Spot, singing and swinging her arm to her station.

They had volunteers already?! Marci squeaked and clapped, jumping over toward the coward, "HAAAAAI!" OH great, there was only one girl here which meant THAT was her co-worker! She so casually HUGGED the girl and squeezed regardless of any protesting or grumpiness from the pretty co-worker (what was her name again?). "Hello hi! I'm sorry I'm late but I had to escort my Papa to the rest corner or spot or whatever before I come here and he uses a cane and it's so freaking slow when old people walk! But I did it! I'M HERE!" She grinned at the girl and then at the two boy and ooooooooooh la laaaa there was a veeeery nice-looking man standing too? Marci waved at him a bit too excitedly. The kids received waves as well but it was normal wave.

Well whoever it was was a GENIUS. And they got DOUBLE GENIUS POINTS in William Williamson's book, just for having a PIE EATING CONTEST at this here festival. His shirt sleeves were already rolled up, look. William was totally prepared to rock this contest.

"Elllllo," he called out as he strolled up to the stand with a big grin, "Can I enter? I'd like to try ALL the pies!" ALL THE PIES!

As he stood there waiting to be accepted into this contest of manliness, William side-eyed the other guys there. Pft. Shrimps. He would eat them out of pie and pie. Easy.

"UMM of course you can enter!" She started, "We would like you to enter. It would be really, really fun to see you eat pie. We welcome all pie eaters. I'm a pie eater myself. Is there any preferred flavor? We can make you anything you want. I'm not a great pie maker as I am a pie eater but we have a lot of pies here somewhere-" her arm pointing to a random direction. "-you just say which pie you'd like to eat and BAM it'll be there for you. It's our pleasure, really, that you eat our pies..." *_________*
