Spending her summer in London, watching pubescent students and the occasional adult shovel pie into their mouths just to gain momentary glory was not Maria's idea of a good time. But she didn't have much of a choice considering she got herself fired from her last job, and desperately needed this job to stay on her feet.

At least there was pie, and it was free.

Seated behind the table with all the pies elbow on the table and head rested lazily in her hand, she watched the kid approach with excitement. He probably was a vomiter. All little kids ending up vomiting after too much to eat too fast.

"................ okay." She reminded herself that she was getting paid to do this, and slide a pie over to the boy. "Here. Take a seat, and wait for others to come along." Maria lazily waved over at the table where the contestants were to sit and eyed the next kid approaching.
