Penelope was consulting her textbook again now that she had her branch. She felt like she had already done a whole lot, and yet there was still loads left to do. Ugh. Skimming over the rest of the steps was almost painful, there was SO much she still had to do. Just when she was hoping she would be close to being done. And now it looked like she had another verse to chant...

But suddenly she was being kissed.

She quickly kissed her boyfriend back and then waved a little - as much as she could with a book and a tree branch in her hands - and said, "Okay, see ya soon," before he was off. She wasn't sure what he was off to do (and she wasn't sure she wanted to know because she'd have to go get it done next), so for now she just focused on the step she was on.

Flipping quickly back to the right pages...
