He may not have passed Care of Magical Creatures as a student, but this one particular series had lost him the moment sparkle and vampire were in the same sentence.
But he was getting himself distracted again. As usual.
Sticking his tongue out of the corner of his mouth while he reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeached with his right foot towards his wand, but found it to still be JUST out of his reach. The astronomer began to grumble to himself about how he had ever gotten into this mess and LKASJLSJLJSLJDSLJDSIJVLJ
HAIR! FUR! HAIRFUR! CAT! CAT FUR! MEDEA HAD JUST THROWN CAT FUR AT HIM! HE WAS GOING TO DIIIIIIIIIIE!
Worst part about it all was that he was totally and completely defenseless against the attack as the single strand of fur attached itself to his suit. NOOOOOOOOOOO! He was trapped outside of his office and without a lint roller!
"FUN?! Medea...nothing about this is fun!" he grumbled while flailing some more and sticking more of his suit against the door. "MY SUUUUUUUUUUUIT!"
Elise was actually going to check on her star again after spending about an hour staring at the Muggle Studies textbook and absorbing practically nothing. Professor Cerulean MAY be her Head of House, but that didn't mean that the Ravenclaw had to like her... or the subject she taught. Not to mention the fact that whatever it was that she DID teach had nothing to do with Elise's future suvival in the Muggle world.
She would be totally useless and lost somewhere in the streets of Muggle London and have no idea how to use a fellytone or whatever it was called to get help. And she had NO idea what a TV was or if it was some sort of food. Nope. NADA. ZILCH. Nothing of use she had learnt in that class.
But then she heard really loud wailing
that almost sounded like a really little girl crying. Maybe a four-year-old? IT WAS PROFESSOR FLAMSTEED. Obviously, because nobody would scream about suit unless it was him... attacked with a cat.
Cats. Because Elise liked cats. Especially since her best friend's name sounded like one. Kitty Kat. Though she'd probably hex her if she'd heard that Elise had called her that.
"Professor?" she gasped as she saw what the problem was. The poor man was stuck to the door and he didn't appear to be able to move. Elise would applaud whoever did this if she wasn't so close to busting out laughing. It was really funny... oh. How long'd he been here?
Pulling out her wand and trying to find a suitable place to point it at, Elise kept her face straight. FOCUS.
"Deligare," she muttered before stuffing her wand back into its holster. It should work. It'd worked every other time, but Elise wasn't trying not to laugh hysterically those other times so it'd better work.
"Who did this?" So Elise could go and congratulate them in person and give them the applause they deserved. Mmhmm. Professor Flamsteed didn't have to know WHY she asked. And if he did, she could just say that she was going to... take revenge? Something like that. Yeah.
