SIGH. The old woman was so tiresome, but Amarantha dropped into the chair with a graceful motion. She didn't want to give in, but she also saw no point in prolonging the inevitable. Amarantha settled her elbows on the table and leaned forward to engage the woman.

"I do not waive my rights, and your disappointing lack of understanding in our legislative system actually bodes very well for me. I have full confidence that in a few days, I will be walking out those doors. And you will be unemployed. But I'll give you a second chance, because you're already old and wrinkly and I feel bad for you. I wouldn't want your children to starve on my behalf. I'll say it again. I demand representation."
