Kaiden had listened intently as his classmates listed off possible potions ingredients, but he hadn’t had a clue about what could be in the potion. What could be in a potion that could be as gross as the one they were going to make? The grossest thing he could think of was mayonnaise. BLECK. When the list of ingredients appeared on the board, he scribbled them down, and then followed the rest of the class to collect the required ingredients. He had half a mind to grab them all in one trip, but when he almost dropped the jar of troll dung, he sat it back down, made a couple of trips.
Sitting back at the work station, he scooted this ingredients away from the edge of the table and waited for the next bit of instructions from the Potions Mistress. And they came soon enough. Following her example, he pointed his wand at the cauldron, and said “Scourgify.” Making sure it was all clean, he poured enough milk into it to fill in half way. And now, for placing it over the burner, he cast “Incindeo” and watched the flame burn low. Text Cut: Droo Quote:

"Then put on your gloves and take the gems of Sulfur, crumpling them into the milk with your hands." She said and again, she showed them how to do it.
The reluctant Hufflepuff wasn’t paying much attention to the things going on in the class. No, he was entertained by the fire, wishing he was camping out. He did snap out of his thoughts when Lafay started giving more instructions. Right, Doxy eggs, what ever they were. Casting scourgify on his stirring implement, he picked up one of the small eggs, and cracked it, letting all the egg innards fall into the cauldron. Picking up his stirring spoon, he stirred once counter clockwise. It then went Crack. Stir. Crack. Stir. Crack. Stir. Crack. Stir.
After that bit was done, he then donned his gloves, and picked up some of the sulfur. The smell kind of burned his nose. He balled his hand into a fist to crush the little yellowish gems, and then let it fall into the cauldron, and then did it again. To once the full amount was in the cauldron, he then watched as Miks finished her part as he slid off his gloves. She was awfully good at all this. Text Cut: Droo Quote:

Kaiden listened carefully to this next bit on instructions. Right, that sounded difficult. Carefully, he measured out the two ounces of bile, and picked up his stirry spoon. Setting it into the liquidy stuff, he began stirring it very fast in a clockwise motion until it spun by itself. Quickly, he poured in the bile, and watched as the spinning slowed and then stopped. So, now time for the flobber worm stuff yeah? Taking a freshly cleaned wooden spoon, he spooned in all four cups of the stuff. And yeah, that mucusy stuff was cool! She waited a moment and then summoned her jar of troll dumg. "The clamp will help, but it won't mask it all so... try not to throw up in the cauldron."
She added the content of the Mountain Troll Dung jar. If that Branxton kid was grossed out by the mucus, she wondered what would happen with this. "Just add it in as quickly as you can." Quote:

Which she was because soon enough her stirring was in effect and the potion was being vigurously stirred in the direction of a clock.
When it was in full spin she dropped in the two ounces of armadillo bile and then just sat there watching the hypnotic spin of the potion. Waiting...waiting...waiting - why was it still SPINNING.
After what seemed like ages the girl finally sighed with GLEE as the potion had stopped spinning. When it had finished she took another clean wooden spoon and carefully scooped and spooned four cups of ictastic flobberworm mucus into the cauldron.
She had been waiting for her potion to quit spinning when Professor Lafay had snapped at Selina and then continued to give the next instructions. She just bit her lip and looked up at the Professor - her throat drying as she heard what was going in next.
Oh pooh. She just wrinkled her nose in disgust and took her nose clamp and quickly - a little too quickly placed it onto her nose. A little squeak of discomfort later she was ready to start with the next step.
She carefully picked up the cup of whale oil and started to drizzle in the oil. Low and slow of course as demonstrated. Her nose clamp was on a little longer than it should have been but it was best to get used to it.
Two cups? WHY two cups? She thought as the stench of Troll dung began to fill the air with its acrid - gag scent. "Oh god I'm going to be sick" she groaned a whistling sound emanating from her nose as she tried to breath - but breathing only made it worse. She gagged a bit as she quickly dropped it into the cauldron. The scent just seeping out to her covered nose yet again.
The stench was so overpowering that all she could do to stop from throwing up in her cauldron was to turn her head slightly. The contents of her stomach unfortunately finding a new home on the floor, and some unfortunate fellow students and people who were just in the wrong place at the wrong time.
On the bright side. She felt loads better. Quote:

She just wrinkled her nose in disgust and took her nose clamp and quickly placed it onto her nose. Hopefully it would help her tons!! She hated yucky icky smells!!
She picked up the whale oil and let it drizzle into the potion slow from the side just like Professor Lafay had done. She set the container down, and just as she was going to take the yucky dung.. She heard something gross...
And it was worse than what she thought it sounded like... The contents of someones stomach unfortunately found themselves onto her feet and legs... "EWWWW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Gross...Gross...Gross...
As he waited for more instructions, the boy found himself watching the potion doing its stuff in his cauldron, and too the occasional peek up at Miks. He would never admit it, but he was startled when Lafay started talking to the class once more. Oops. Cup of Whale oil. He picked up the little container it was in, and watched how the potions mistress poured hers in. Carefully he imitated the professor’s actions, letting it all drizzle in, though he may have done it a little faster than she had.
Kaid grinned widely when he looked back up and saw the clamp on the woman’s nose. It couldn’t really be THAT bad could it? He did take one though, when the basket reached him, and he placed it on his nose. Err, it was uncomfortable. Before opening the jar, he just kind of looked at the stuff. “I wonder who has to collect this stuff?” he asked out loud with a stuffy sound. That had to be the worst job ever. Opening the jar, he quickly realized it was bad, really bad. He stopped breathing, as he tried pouring the stuff quickly. As it was plopping into the cauldron, he heard someone retching beside him.
“Miks!” he said turning to her, concerned for his friend, and glad she hadn’t gotten sick all over him, but that other girl. The one he didn't like. Reaching out, he place his hand on her back and rubbed like his mother did when he was sick. “You okay?”
