She gave her husband a look before shaking her head and writing her own name on a name tag. Of course, she just had to put her old last name on it, just in case no one would recognize her, and once it was stuck to her dress, accidentally upside down, she tugged Carter in the direction of Marie. "After this, we go get potatoes." Because she saw them!

Marie didn't have to look very hard for her friends. She had barely moved away from the table when she seen Destiny and Carter approach her.

"Destiny!" Pulling her friend into a hug she glanced over at... was that Carter with her? What the hell was he wearing?

As she stepped back she noticed her friends name tag was upside down, and it had her maiden name on it. Looking over at Carter she grinned at him. "You know, I bet your wife would use her married name if her husband didn't look..." What was the word she was looking for here? Stupid, goofy, childish? "...like a candy cane." Seriously, he was running for a spot on the Board of Governors, did he really think dressing like that was going to win him votes?
