Lily was still crying? Aww! Louisa did not know how to make people stop shedding tears! She thought sentimental words would only make it worse. She slid on the seat next to the younger 'claw and let her arm snake around her shoulders, "Stop crying, please? For me?" Because SHE was going to start crying TOO. That was exactly the thing Louisa was keeping under control and refusing to let herself be this emotional in front of the whole school.
"I'm going to write, okay? And we still have summer! We'll go out, have ice cream or whatever you want." She offered helpfully. "I bet you write long letters like I do."
Louisa sighed faintly and started looking around, actually acknowledging where she was seated. Vickers was not around yet, was he still at the door? She felt the necklace heavier around her neck. Then there was Max and Vivi somewhere on the opposite side of the table. Then Ethan, her hairstyler hehe, and Harvey. The rude girl that hates candy and Taylor. Others not from the house but Louisa knew their faces without attaching names to them.
She suddenly felt tired. And sleepy. So she sagged on her spot and started to play with the spoon.
When Louisa came back over, Lily allowed herself to lean towards her older claw friend. She really wanted to be happy, but it was hard when she was going to be losing her mentor/friend/older sister. So she tried to dry her eyes when the head girl asked. Every now and again, her eyes would leak a couple of tears, but the third year would wipe them away as soon as they fell.
"Are you gonna go to a university?" She asked, purposely avoiding looking up at the seventh year because she knew if she did more tears would start up.
"Because I think you should go to a university..... but one where you can come visit me in Hogsmeade." Even if she had to apparate to get there...
As for the letters, Lily's personal opinion was that there would be a ton of letters all the time. And with the idea of hanging out in the summer, the third year definitely wanted to do that whenever Benjy and her parents would allow it.
"Will you take me shopping for next year's supplies over the summer?" Yep, true Ravenclaw at heart always thinking of her next exam or chance to study.
Lily didn't want Louisa to ever leave, but knew that eventually she would need to, so as her older claw friend was looking around at the other people in the great hall, the little redhead slipped out from next to the head girl and scooted out of the great hall quickly so that she could go get something, leaving only her best quill sitting on the bench beside Louisa.
