Her gaze was only for a second when she saw students looking at the plant and then Sutton moving towards it. "Sutton.. No get away from it.. That thing is dangerous, everyone stay away from it." Her eyes turned toward Minnie as she said they needed to go get a professor before it left. "Well, if we want it to stay here, then we have to give it a reason to stay," she said quietly... before she jumped through the trees to the other side of the vine from where everyone else was. "Go get a professor! I'm the smallest, and I'm fast. I'll keep it's attention until you get back," she instructed as she pulled out her wand, ready to defend herself is she needed to.
Ed frowned at Sutton shaking both him and Minnie off. He watched her with narrowed eyes until she jumped through the trees. WAS SHE OUT OF HER MIND?! Without a second thought, Ed followed her and instantly jumped in front of her. He snarled at her over his shoulder. "Get back through there and to safety, you idiot." Hadn't she HEARD what this thing had done?! If she didn't move, he was just going to pick her up and take her back to safety himself. Hopefully she'd go through and Minnie would grab her and pull her away. At least one of them had a brain.
