A rather puzzled look crossed Milton's face when he had first read the message from the Fat Friar. Obviously, the school had mysteries. It was HOGWARTS, for Merlin's sake and if anyone really thought they would be able to solve them, they were absolutely nutters. But... duty calls and Milton had to admit he was rather intrigued. He wanted his dorm back and his comfy bed and all his pillows and blankets and he suspected that this meeting had something to do with that.

With his mean, old owl perched on his shoulder, Milton opened the door to the dark, dusty room and slowly walked inside, nodding at the spirits and students already present. As soon as Jax, Milton's ragged old, owl spotted Gideon's raven, he screeched at it. Jax wasn't one for tolerating other animals. "This oughta be fun," Milton muttered to himself, waiting for others to arrive.
