Yeah, he knew Bryce wouldn't let him down. Well he wouldn't let his niece down.
"Oh Hadley's back at the shop doing the bookwork." Something Colby hated doing.
"I told her I'd take Annabelle out for some fresh air." He just failed to tell her exactly where they were going.

Well it looks like Annabelle was just as popular as the puppies were. "Hey there Layla. Of course you can hold her. I wouldn't dream of keeping her away from Auntie Layla." Like he could keep her away. Once Annabelle seen the woman she stopped playing with Dino and started to run over to her. Only she didn't make it all the way before she fell on her bum. Good thing she had on that diaper. Those things worked wonders for cushioning the falls. Looking up at her Auntie she held out her hands and started making mumbling sounds.
Pick me up already. "I think you better pick her up before she starts to use her vocal cords." Merlin, they didn't want that. The child could scream when she wanted something.
