...EXPELLED?! Merlin this was even more serious than he thought. "Alexa, listen to me very carefully, I don't WANT to hear that you got expelled, you hear me? There is NO reason for you to NOT behave." He stressed just about every word in the sentence. This was one of the only times he truly got serious and this was, of course because he didn't want his daughter getting expelled. She was the first in his family to receive a suspension and he didn't want her creating another first! "Am I understood young lady?" Ugh, he even had to use that term that sounded so un-nurturing and impersonal, such a pity.

Mmm. He was using that tone again. He knew she didn't like that tone; this was all that Headmistress' fault, now her father was all upset at her. POUT.

Close watch...but then...how would she get away with doing anything? That didn't sound like very much fun at all! Then again...the expulsion didn't sound like very much fun either so without hesitation she nodded eagerly at the Headmistress' words. There was no time for smart remarks and that kind of thing all she wanted was to collapse in her common room and forget any of this happened. Poor Felix was probably dying slowly downstairs in the cage and she had to hurry back to him. "I understand--and I'll be good too--extra extra good!" Or well...as good as Alexa Cambridge could be.

As for the wand, the Headmistress would be getting another visit from her as soon as she settled in. It was hard being home and not being able to threaten to hex her step-mother. She wanted her baby back.
