"Okay!" He was more than happy to learn something new. Once they got to the first hole, she handed him a long metal thing wih a heavy metal bit at one end. Taking the putter, Edmund stared at it for a second before examining it curiously. Now, which way did he hold it? He held the heavier metal part and practiced that way, but it just didn't feel right. Hm. After a moment of pure concentration, he turned the putter aroud and finally held it correctly. "Oh, it's this way!" He looked up at her with a proud grin, glad to have got it right by working it out himself.
Well this should be interesting.
Nell smiled as she placed her purple ball, which looked a lot like a snitch except for the color and the indentations, on the starting place. Straightening up her eyes went to Edmund to check his progress. Furrowing her brows she watched Ed figure out which side of the putter goes where. She wasn't going to mention the one side of the metal object has grips which indicates where your hands are supposed to go.
When he finally did figure it out she smiled at him and shook her head.
"So, you want to go first or should I?"
