Ella grinned, leaning forward to take the bag from Alec. Mmmm. Just what she needed to make the long train ride better, food and a friend! "Thanks!" She said sincerely, offering him a small smile. Oh, and he was going to have some gummy worms as well? BEAM. BEAM. BEAM. "You're welcome. The green ones are my favorite, y'know. I like them cause they're super...lime-y. If that's even a thing." But it totally was, yeah? Alec knew what she was talking about, right? He was a sweets person too, after all!

Ella saw the shuffle and raised her eyebrows just a little. Was he telling the truth? She really hoped so. She wanted Alec to have a great summer cause he was super nice and deserved one. Mhm! "Ice cream and video games, huh? That sounds...that sounds like fun!" Especially the ice cream part. That sounded amazing. "Though I'm kind of rubbish at video games...Dad always beats me. I think he secretly kinda enjoys it..." She said thoughtfully before giggling softly. "And friends? I mean...did you see Messy at all?" Not that Messer was Alec's only friend, she just figured he was one of Alec's best ones. As for her summer...Ella frowned slightly but quickly changed her expression to a neutral one. "Mine was...pretty good. I ate a lot of ice cream too...and I um...I got a new puppy! His name is Dino." Yeah. Those had been the exciting parts of the summer.
