There was a voice in her mind, kept telling her to let it go. Right. It wasn't the time for her to hold herself on this issue that long, she still got tasks to do which were given from the 'real' professor.

Gaining back her conscious, she found her hands had stopped trembling from fear which was good that it seemed like she was trying to get herself away from the fear. As she turned to Kurumi, she found herself still clinging onto the elder lioness' arm tightly. "Sorry,"she said as she lifted her hand away from her arm."Does it hurt?" Tiffany pointed at her arm. She was really sorry if it really did hurt her but she got no idea about that trembling thing...she was just too frightened, especially under this whole darkness.

Tiffany listened to what Kurumi had just said which was exactly something that she was thinking about minutes ago. The tasks that they would be finishing today. A diamond spread? An understanding of a conflict? So does it mean that they could know the answer from it if they do have a problem that can't be solved by themselves? But the question is...the girl had no question at all, not really some big conflicts. She simply scratched her head, thinking for more that she could ask.

Truth be told, Kurumi was too lost in thought over what sort of question she should ask that she didn't even notice Tiffany had been holding on to her arm. Which was sort of strange considering that her arm was moving as she shook her bag of runes and therefore very much aware of the slight restriction. "Hmmm?" she asked as if she were somewhat coming out of a trance. Which, if Kurumi was being entirely honest, she had been. But at least she now had a question that she wanted to ask - although immensely private and she wasn't sure how to go about writing her essay on her reading without going into too much detail.

Professor Jenkins probably didn't want to know too much about the love lives of his students after all.

Glancing down at her arm, Kurumi stopped shaking her bag and looked at her fellow Gryffindor. "Oh, no, it's perfectly fine," she nodded. Erm, Tiffany clinging to her arm like that and her arm itself.

Attention back on her rune bag, Kurumi loosened the ribbon tying it together and slipped her hand inside where the mixed the runes around for another moment before pulling out her first rune and setting it in the first position on the table. "Kenaz," she said mostly to herself as she glanced at her textbook again and read things over.
SPOILER!!: Kenaz

Torches
Kenaz symbolizes energy and light. A fire of creation and power lights the way. Artistic energy is referenced, as well as human passion and lust. Some things shine brightly, making all surroundings clear. Good energy.

Once she had jotted this down on her parchment, Kurumi reached into her bag again and pulled out the second rune and frowned when she found it to be inverted. Inverted meanings were never good...so the Gryffindor squirmed in her seat uncomfortable as she glanced back at her textbook again.
SPOILER!!: Wunjo

Joy (inverted)
A loss of identity or an alienation of a close companion. Strife between those who are close.

Swallowing nervously, Kurumi reached into her bag again to pull out her third rune. At least this time it wasn't inverted, so hopefully that was a good sign.
SPOILER!!: Berkano

Birth and Growth
Berkano, the birch tree, represents the beginning of new life, and a personal liberation from past restrictions. A new love or a new desire. A business venture does well. A time of renewed personal energy and drive.

Hands trembling slightly as Kurumi reached into her bag again, the one that would tell her the possible end result, she hesitated for a moment. Just at a quick glance these runes were accurate. A little too accurate for her taste and she was afraid that the end result would be something along the lines of 'no'. While that sort of answer would probably be best for her, Kurumi's heart didn't want to accept it. Or couldn't rather.

So it was after one last deep breath that Kurumi reached into her bag again and pulled out her fourth and final rune...and it was inverted. Kurumi's heart sank as she referred to her textbook again.
SPOILER!!: Perthro

Mystery (inverted)
To display false knowledge. To consume too heavily. To be irresponsible.

Kurumi simply looked down at the spread on the table for a few moments not really registering the full meaning of what she was seeing. Her mind was wrapped too much around her rune that represented the forces or energies that give insight into the final outcome of the situation being inverted to really see anything else clearly.
