Logically, there would be more room for mistakes, but infinitely more expression
"Thank you," she said, smiling nonetheless. "Maybe after I figure out the dynamics?" Caute knew that Lus liked music, but couldn't quite understand why she had quit the violin. From what Caute had heard, Lus was rather talented at it.
"When will you not get into a fight?" she smiled almost exasperatedly. Pinching the bridge of her nose, she smiled resignedly, just glimpsing the bruise before Lus had covered it again. Rolling here eyes, she sighed. "Your sense of justice seriously clouds your common sense sometimes," Caute sighed before pulling her wand out. Those bruises looked awful.
The episkey had barely crossed her mind and the glow had only began to surround Lus' arm when she scooted towards Ira. Sometimes, Lus' pride could actually rival Superbia. And pride could bring downfall.
Looking up towards the door, Caute couldn't resist the temptation to heave a quiet sigh of relief. Temperentia was alive, thank Zeus. Or Merlin. Whoever they were supposed to be talking about in this strange place. A rosy tint began to color her cheeks when she caught his eye.
Taking a moment to calm herself, she smiled. "Hi Temp. Had a nice summer?" Had a nice summer? Seriously? That was all she had to say to him? It was the safest road to take, she assured herself. And the blushing could pass as make up, except for the fact that Caute never used make up.
Was it really that painfully obvious? Quote:

Now it was his turn to roll his eyes as his sister showcased the bruises she had incurred over the summer. This was exactly why he had to worry about her. Caute was perfectly right when she said that his sister's sense of justice clouded her common sense. Those guys were huge and she was not; it didn't take a genius to know how it would have turned out and yet she was determind to protect that little boy. He would have left her to let the boys teach her a lesson on thinking before you acted but he couldn't exactlystand by and watch them hurt his sister so unfortunately he had had to step in which he would have mentioned if it weren't for the fact that it would have hurt her pride. Seriously where in her body did she store this pride? There had to be 110% good in her and the last he checked pride was never a good thing. "That is exactly it." He told Caute. "Sometimes I wish she would think before she acted." Quote:

"I think she jsut needs to realize that she can't save every kid that's going to be bullied. Bullying's a part of the life experience, anyway."
At least that's how she saw it. Lus would probably have a totally different idea.
Caute looked up at her sister's voice, eternally grateful for the distraction. Feeling the rush of blood to her face slowly die down, she smiled. "Hey, Vi," she said, her tone had a hidden note of relief. "It's okay. I was going to go over and say hi, but you were a little busy on Animi."
Busy making him jealous over what exactly, Caute wasn't sure. It was probably about a girl. Vi had a tendency to use these things against people. Quote:

[B]"Not everyone should be saved either, some of the greatest people in the world are only great because they had something to overcome. If she jumps between every kid and a bully soon the future will be hopeless." Then his plan for world domination would be ruined and he was not going to allow that to happen because of her and her sense of Justice. Finally, someone who seemed to enjoy her company. Honestly, it was like everyone thought she was some kind of horrible person. Well forget them, she knew her sister would always appreciate her even when no one else did and in fact she could hear the relief in her tone which only made her feel better. "Oh him," she said, rolling her eyes, "I was just setting things straight for him, you should have come over." It would have made her feel better. She glanced back at the other table waiting to see if Animi would really remain over there instead of dragging himself over to the table and trying to find out for himself.
Lus ignored Caute and Avaritia's discussion on her habit of leaping into the unknown, which usually meant fights. Although she did appreciate the healing from Caute.
But she couldn't resist retorting to it. "Don't worry, Av, your little "rule the world" plan will be quite safe even with my input. Or maybe I'll come in with a big red cape and save everyone from your dastardly command." Lus knew all about her brother's quest for so-called world domination, ever since he had made little models of towns and then pretended to rule them as a kid. He'd tried to rule her once too, but she'd quickly put a stop to that. Quote:

It was okay, made people fight. Hey next time someone makes a boy get beat up you let the boy learn their lesson. Just kidding it wasn't supposed to go that way. The boys were supposed to fight each other.Oh and look here comes his brother. "Hey bro. Where you been? Instead, she concentrated on Ira's argument about it. "It wasn't exactly fighting each other," she said, frowning slightly. "It was unfair, really unfair." She shook her head, a lock of black-blonde hair falling in front of her face. She didn't bother to brush it away. "I don't know, I can't stand to see injustice, I guess. Would you have let them beat each other up?" She stared evenly at him, not accusing or criticising, just mildly curious.
