Now it was his turn to roll his eyes as his sister showcased the bruises she had incurred over the summer. This was exactly why he had to worry about her. Caute was perfectly right when she said that his sister's sense of justice clouded her common sense. Those guys were huge and she was not; it didn't take a genius to know how it would have turned out and yet she was determind to protect that little boy. He would have left her to let the boys teach her a lesson on thinking before you acted but he couldn't exactlystand by and watch them hurt his sister so unfortunately he had had to step in which he would have mentioned if it weren't for the fact that it would have hurt her pride. Seriously where in her body did she store this pride? There had to be 110% good in her and the last he checked pride was never a good thing. "That is exactly it." He told Caute. "Sometimes I wish she would think before she acted."
Caute nodded fervently. Honestly, sometimes Caute felt like she should be around Lus more often, just so that she wouldn't do anything too reckless. Unfortunately, they had chosen to take different electives. Meaning that that plan was unlikely to happen. "We all do," she said, watching Lus out the corner of her eye. "I think she jsut needs to realize that she can't save every kid that's going to be bullied. Bullying's a part of the life experience, anyway."
At least that's how she saw it. Lus would probably have a totally different idea. Quote: Vi walked over to her sister's side in time to see Temperance do the same. She could tell the moment her sister began blushing but decided not to call her out on it, instead she would keep that to herself in case Temp was just as oblivious as every other guy in the room; all part of her plan to be a better person while she could be. "There you are." She said, hoping to distract her so the blush could leave her face before Temp could notice. "If I had known you were already inside I would have dropped by much sooner to say hi to you and your...." She looked from person to person, taking in the people her sister called friends. "your friends." She gave each of them at the table a smile. be nice Vi, be nice.
Caute looked up at her sister's voice, eternally grateful for the distraction. Feeling the rush of blood to her face slowly die down, she smiled. "Hey, Vi," she said, her tone had a hidden note of relief. "It's okay. I was going to go over and say hi, but you were a little busy on Animi."
Busy making him jealous over what exactly, Caute wasn't sure. It was probably about a girl. Vi had a tendency to use these things against people. |
