"Phoebe, we haven't much time...and need to proceed. I have brought a special dagger for the ceremony....if you need it....and I'm sure Nurse Lotus will be able to numb the area if you are unable. Things outside the castle are becomming more agitated and if we don't finish the potion now, I fear we shall not finish at all."

Kobus takes the dagger from his robes and places it in Phoebe's hand.

He removes the medallion from around his neck and places it around hers.
