Anyway, as soon as Eve greeted her, Kate gave her a warm smile and placed the letters away, "Hi Eve," she said, "How are things?" because they haven't truly spoken after the train, and when she finally made it here every night...Eve was either already asleep, or out on rounds....so...
"Oh, no, you're not disturbing me at all...I didn't get a letter as exciting as the one you got," wink. She'd noticed. Kate was good at noticing things...
"Things are alright..I think." Evelyn with a small frown. She still was a little confused about what happened down at Hogsmeade..but, no. She wasn't going to think about that now. She was going to meet Eddy later so she'll just talk it over with him..anyway.
"How have you been? Oh. Congratulations on making the team, by the way. I never really got the opportunity to congratulate you.." She flushed slightly. She should have done this ages ago but they'd both been really busy. So.
HUH!? Evelyn stared at the girl, her face slowly turning red. The letter from Trey. How on earth did Kate even know about that? Was Evelyn's reaction that obvious or something? Um.
"Yeah. That was a letter from..a friend."Evelyn muttered, hoping the girl would just let this go.
