Alexa's outburst made Aria cringe. Not that she didn't agree. She completely did. It was just-this woman was clearly not one for discussion. As for the more disciplined students comment, Aria wanted to roll her eyes. This woman had no idea what kind of skills Alexa had in potions. Nor did she know what kind of skills anyone had. She was NEW. Aria shook her head and looked down at her desk, willing Alexa to stop talking so she wouldn't get into any more trouble than she was already in.
The professor's face when she saw Eric had pulled a pink slip made Aria nervous. What was that look? Why did she look so pleased about it? It all made the fourth year quite uncomfortable. She chanced a glance over at her ex and saw that he was looking back at her. Hm. She hadn't allowed such eye contact in a while. She gave him a nod before turning back to the front, not able to hold his gaze any longer.
Aria being the next in line to take a detention slip, she reached inside the container and also pulled out a pink one. She groaned inwardly, knowing how awkward this would be. Not only did she have her first detention...but it was with Eric. Her dad would be pleased. Perhaps it didn't necessarily mean she would be working together though, yeah? She handed the slip to the professor before reminding herself that she had agreed to let Eric try and be her friend. She had to start sometime...
And then there was Adam. Aria almost stood up when he walked in late, wanting to tell him to turn around before it was too late. Instead she looked at her best friend with wide eyes, shaking her head as a sort of warning. It was clearly too late though, he had already made quite the entrance.
