Carrying the usual start of the term box-of-cookies-for-Professor-Vindictus in her hands, Kurumi made her way down to the pitch not exactly sure why she was heading down here minus the whole Selina threatening her with her Beater's bat if Kurumi refused to attend flying lessons. Upon arrival, Kurumi smiled nervously at all the students present before making her way right up to Professor Vindictus and handing him the box of golden snitch cookies.
" Good day, professor," she said with a nervous smile as she glanced at the brooms. She could just deliver the cookies and leave, but then Selina would most likely hunt her down and...well...seeing as the redhead knew where Kurumi slept... " I hope it is alright if I attend. I can just be an extra set of eyes in the air."
You know, for all those first years who liked to hover somewhere around 10 feet off the ground.
And then Professor Vindictus gave them their first set of instructions. Sigh. Slowly, Kurumi made her way over to a broom and stood to the right of it, just as instructed. Kurumi found that she was actually hoping for another lesson involving flying squirrels...or some other CUTE magical creature that flew. Oh! Maybe a bunch of baby dragons! That could be fun. Assuming baby dragons could fly that is.
At least he wasn't the only older student/prefect that had come, though Gideon had to admit he was surprised by Kurumi's presence. It had to be the response to something Selina had either said or done or a matter of both. Whatever the reason, he gave a smile to his fellow sixth year before focusing his attention back to Vindictus as he began class. The Gryffindor following the man's instructions and obediantly moving to the right of a unclaimed broom as directed and awaited the next step to whatever the were to do.
