"Yes," Paulie answered Beezus, as he continued shoving the wagon forward. "An empress is the female form of an emperor." And she seemed pretty keen on being an empress, too. She also seemed pretty keen on getting ice cream, in place of grapes, from her 'slaves.'
He grinned upon hearing her 'Impress your empress!' line. Paulie liked rhymes and alliteration and good word play. "Yep, almost there, guys!" As Kaiden continued pulling, Paulie kept pushing the wagon. Just about ten feet..... now just a few... one foot from the finish line!!
"Woop woooooop!" Paulie called, as the cart passed on over the finish line. Voila. The crazy empress/slave team had pulled it off!

Ignoring Kaiden's sarcastic response to her ice cream craving dispatch, Beezus leaned forward, excitement and fulfillment rushing into her nerved as she saw the finish line coming close.
"Faster guys!" The Ravenclaw exclaimed, clapping enthusiastically.

AND....
Instead of clapping with her hands together, Beezus was clapping her face, mouth wide open as she screamed for utter victory.
"AAAAHHHH! We did it!" She then descended from their wagon with rapid speed, and pulled her teammates into a tight hug.
"You did great my slaves." HEHE. The teamwork actually paid off.
Almost there, almost there. Being the one pulling the cart, Kaiden was the first of his team across the finish, but he continued pulling until they were all across.
"We did!" he grinned, as he got roped into a hug. It was amazing that they made this cart and pushed it across the field.
"You guys were awesome!" he said, sticking his fist out for Paulie to fist bump.
