While wandering the grounds, Penelope decided to make her way down to the animal sanctuary. She wasn't sure what sorts of creatures to expect to see, but she did hope to find one of those half bird, half horse creatures like the one Atticus had. She couldn't remember the name - though she was pretty sure there was a "gryff" in there like "Gryffindor" - but she doubted the name really mattered. It would still be there whether she knew what it was called or not.
When she reached the sanctuary though, she didn't notice any there when she looked around. There were lots of other animals...but they weren't the ones she wanted to see.
Meh.
