That wasn't going all too well.
And then Treyen had asked her something and she lowered the glass. "Not...really...no," she admitted. She had hardly touched her breakfast and mostly zoned out at lunch. She swirled the contents of her cup and pondered taking a sip of it, but set it back down on the table instead. "I...haven't been baking either."
Not that that should come as a surprise to Treyen or anything.
Not so slightly. Her hands
were shaking more than she thought, because Treyen was able to take notice of that. He rarely paid attention to the little details.
At least she took the cup...but did she drink at all?
Kurumi was the one who'd wanted the pumpkin juice, not him, so, she should drink from the cup. Hey, wait, what?
"You haven't?" but she had to eat! The Gryffindor Prefect made the Head Boy frown, quite visibly too,
"I'm not leaving your side until you eat something. At least one strawberry." More than a strawberry, actually. But he wasn't leaving, nor they were leaving the Great Hall for that matter.
SHE HASN'T BAKED?!
Awwww, but...didn't she love doing so? Baking cookies?
"Why not?" He could ask,
"I guess I forgot to thank you for the cupcakes from my birthday, by the way." He smiled, and then brushed a strand of her hair away from her face. And then another strand. Her hair was incredibly soft, come to think of it.
"Thank you."
