Gideon met her gaze when she glanced at him, raising an eyebrow as he watched and waited as if daring her to keep up her teasing. She could do what she wanted then and he would simple do his part and restart the tickling. But she seemed to have been quelled...for now. Well until she rolled her eyes and responded to his comment with one of her own.
"What are you gonna do...make practice harder?" That was a quiet joke, she already made it a challenge. Not that he backed off from it but rather faced it head on and often came out on top unless Anya or one of the others gave him a run for his money. Okay so maybe he wasn't totally done with the teasing himself but so what? It was how they rolled.
"Don't tempt me," Selina warned him snapping into her Captain voice all the while keeping her head rested on his shoulder. Although for a player like Gideon making Quidditch harder would be a challenge. Besides Selina the only player who consistently gave him a nice challenge was Anya. The little first year was a machine and Selina was always impressed by the girl's fierce raw talent at the sport. When the girl graduated her elder brother had to watch his step in the Quidditch realm. She could give him a run for his money.
But enough about Quidditch, which was a weird resolution for Selina to come to being that all she ever talked about was Quidditch. She was currently enjoying her time with one Mr. Gideon Gavin Gert.
Her blue eyes skirted over to the fire that was crackling in the fireplace. Each snap of wood sent a small firework looking explosion in the fire. After looking at the fire in silence for several seconds Selina spoke up again,
"Hey... We've been together for over a year now. Isn't that weird to think about?". It was weird for her to think about being that she and Gideon were so comfortable with one another. He was right from the beginning: being friends first before being a couple made their relationship kind of easy and fun.
