It seemed that with his final statement they were relocating. Perhaps it was for the best because they were having an intimate moment... standing... in the middle of the Common Room. They did not attract a crowd but she did see a few eyes looking over at the fourth and fifth year curiously. Maybe he had the right idea of moving them to the couch.
She was about to take a seat when he pulled her down on the couch with him. With a humph she looked up at him and said, "Hey, cheater!" Gideon tilted his head ever so slightly as he noticed Selina's attention on it, well aware of the presence of her hand as it slipped from behind him. He wrinkled his nose as she reached up and ruffled his hair but he didn't pull away. On the contrary he was letting her do it, maybe even leaned down a little so she didn't have to stretch as much. Though not about to tell her that he didn't mind the action. "Aye...I know ye do," the boy chuckling at her stuck out tongue. When Selina willingly followed him from their spot on he floor to the couch at his guiddance, Gideon fought a smirk. Though it crept onto his face when he decided to be playful and act on it. "Me...a cheater?" he remarked pretending to act hurt at her name-calling and the comment on his sportsmanship as if it was a game. "I play fair m'lady. I just simply wanted to make sure I got to keep you for some time now that I finally got ahold of you." Which was particly true. She wasn't getting away from him that easily and thankfully he couldn't think of anything that might call either of them away anytime soon.
