Holding the vines in his hand, Daichi felt them struggling in his grip as they tried to free themself and attack Jory. He saw the Hufflepuff approaching the plant. One of the vines Daichi was holding , managed to slip out of his gloved hands and was now whooshing at Jory. "Watch out!" he warned but Daichi saw that the boy had already seen the vine and had ducked under the vine.
Seeing him sticking his hand in the hole, Daichi tried to catch the freed vine as Jory searched but stopped when he heard Jory shouting that he got the pod. "Great!" Daichi shouted back and went back to trying to capture the vine that was whooshing back at Jory. "Jory! Jump left! but don't let the pod drop" he said for if the Hufflepuff moved to the left he wouldn't get hit and Daichi could grab the vine.
Jory, feeling triumphant and relieved they were almost done with this plant, suddenly heard Daichi's shout telling him to jump left. Closing his fist tightly around the pod, Jory hurriedly darted to his left. He barely made it for he could feel a bit of breeze as the vine snapped by close to his face.
"Daichi,watch out! Its heading for you!'' Jory shouted at the loose vine now headed in Daichi's direction. If it hit Daichi, he would probably have to go to the Hospital Wing.
