Ariella positioned her watering can in front of her. Pointing her wand at it, she firmly said, "Aguamenti!" She waited for a while until the water was boiling.

Tipping the can slightly, she gave her seed a nice sprinkling of water. Was she finished?! She was finished! She glanced into her pot again to see the slightly moistened soil. It looked alright, surprisingly. Ariella grabbed a spare slip of parchment and scribbled her name on it so she could properly label her pot.

Fill half of pot up with soil and let it rest for several minutes to warm up. 3. Carefully take a single fire seed with dragon hide gloves and place on top of the soil. 4. Cover fire seed with soil, so that pot is filled. Pat the soil down a little (not too much, you don't want to suffocate it). 5. Water the fire seed with boiling water, without drowning it.
