As usual Violet was being drawn into the latest fashions and she always had the most difficult time peeling her eyes away for just a moment. It was a problem, she did admit but she could not help it! Every page that she turned was just more and more fascinating to her. Which is why, when Selina came Violet didn't even notice until she spoke to her and it made Violet jump making a little squeak. Violet brushed aside some of her hair and then smiled at Selina saying lightly,"Hi Sely!" Then she asked if she was doing alright,"I'm doing alright...You?" Of course after what just happened with Chris, Violet was a little thrown off and her mood was a little faltered at that. But Violet refused to ruin this day just because of that.
Selina smiled at Violet and took note of how Violet's mood had barely taken a damper to it. Although she was obviously thrown off by the whole Christopher encounter. Yeah, she probably
should have warned the pair of them that Violet was coming and that Christopher did not know she was coming; however, it was too late to change the past. Besides, Christopher was being really mean about the whole situation. He was being such a prick about Violet showing up and his "right" to know she was coming. Well she didn't care that he felt entitled to knowing about every detail of this guest. If anyone else was coming to Whitley Christopher would not care. It was only because VIOLET was coming did he have a tantrum.
When Violet spoke Selina smiled back at her and said,
"I'm doing great. It's amazing to see you, honestly. I can't believe that you're here. I've missed you so much... birthday girl..." Violet was now fourteen... boy did time fly.
