He was graduating. And... he was finally coming to terms with it.
Meeeep. He was serious! Maybe Ellie shouldn't have been so excited for the future at a time like this; people leaving Hogwarts and all, but she couldn't help it. She already had a job lined up for when she graduated. And it was for Carter! Nothing like working for a friend, right?
"I would love it." She told him with a huge smile.
And that was an understatement. Did that mean she would be famous and get to stand with Carter in all his photoshoots? Bahah. Probably not, but it was fun to imagine. Anyway.
"This is exciting! And it means a lot to me that you like me enough to have me follow you around all the time." She added with a laugh. Ellie actually had a job lined up for post-Hogwarts. This was great.
