Maybelle was just acting like Kita, apologizing for things that were never meant to have apologies or something like that.

And she was blushing? Honestly, she didn't have to be embarrassed by the hug. He decided to let the blushing go by, as if unnoticed, even if he did notice. Everyone would.

About the other matches, "At least you got to play in this one." Which was kind of an important match.
