Since it was on the same floor, it slipped into a room thing. Maybe it could hide a bit here, so as not to get caught by anyone.
Feeling rather tired, its little arms tensed from having to carry things for so long, it flopped to the floor and curled into a ball. The view was good from down here, and it saw books! smart people read those!
Having rested for a few minutes, it felt a little re-energised. Could it have more fun now? Oh yes it could.
Skipping over to one of the book shelves, it pulled out a thick and old looking volume from somewhere down the bottom. Simply because it was easier to reach. Flopping back down on the floor, it opened the cover and stared at the funny looking shapes inside. It couldn't read them, but it pretended it could. Then maybe it could be smart too.
After turning a lot of pages, it started getting bored again. Smart people must be very bored people, with all their boring books. Nope.
It went to close the book when it accidently tore out a page. The ripping noise filled the room, and made it excited! That sounded fun. It opened up the book again and inspected the torn out page. Then it took hold of another page, and gave it a good tug. RIP. Oohhhh fun! RIP. RIP.
It continued to rip pages until soon the whole book lay on the floor beside it. The cover was pretty and smart looking though, so it would keep it.
Now that it was rested and it had a new toy, it gathered the other things, the teddy, the metal box and the photo frame, and left the room. Peering around the corner of the door before sneaking off.
