Hmmm. Usually, she would comment on how exotic Romania was, and so it would be more fun to meet there, but she couldn't really talk when it was about the holidays. Her house was where they all always met and she wouldn't want it any other way.

And he.... Her eyes were on him until he actually said it. Then, she followed his lead by looking out the window. "Shhh. That's not for forever anyway..." She bit her lip. In truth, it wasn't forever away. It was still well over a year before he left, but it felt closer somehow.

Ellie still didn't understand why he'd want to stay at school during the holidays, though. What did those who stayed do anyway? It had to be awfully boring.
Didn't he mention that before, though? He was almost positive he had...unless he'd thought about it but never mentioned a single thing, after all, it's not like he spoke about his uncle that much.

"He did," and he wasn't the only Lockhart that had decided to take the path up North, "Don't really know why...," he should ask, "I do know my father and my uncle were nothing alike when they were growing up, despite being twins they could never agree on anything," except not liking Gilderoy Lockhart, that was the one thing they agreed on, "The choice of schooling was amongst those things, apparently."

The smile on his face remained in place, "If he'd come to Hogwarts, I think he would've been a Gryffindor," just like grandma.

And then she was shushing him again, Treyen should take the hint. No more mentioning of his final year at Hogwarts...at least not while he wasn't a seventh year studying for NEWTs...a study that had already begun, of course.

Instead of agreeing with her or not...he just took her hand.
